TMChoir is pleased to welcome you to the first Singsation of the 22.23 Season.
It’s a community singing workshop, and a wonderful way to spend a Saturday morning – with people who love to sing!
The Theme:
“We Are Toronto” – a reading of SATB choral pieces by composers who call (or have called) Toronto home.
Your Conductor:
This workshop is conducted by Jamie Hillman, TMChoir’s Associate Conductor & Director of Community Engagement.
Jamie is a Canadian and American musician, active as a conductor, singer, pianist, music educator, and composer. He holds the endowed Elmer Iseler Chair in Conducting at the University of Toronto where he is also Director of Choral Studies and an Associate Professor. He conducts the MacMillan Singers and leads the master’s and doctoral programs in Choral Conducting.
