As Senior Vice President, Talent Services, Alan leads a global team of HR Centers of Expertise focused on execution of Operations, Digital Solutions, and best-in-class advice in support of business needs and HR Strategy. Areas of accountability include HR Advice, HR Operational Excellence, HR Digital Solutions, Payroll Operations, Pensions & Benefits Delivery, and Operational Risk & Vendor Management.

While at RBC Alan has held a variety of roles such as SVP, Talent Strategy & Solutions, VP, Learning & Performance, VP, HR Transformation, and HR Business Partner. Prior to joining RBC, Alan was a Management Consultant with The Boston Consulting Group where he provided strategic advice to clients across an array of industries.

Alan has held a lifelong passion for music, performing in choirs and concert bands throughout school and university, as well as taking music lessons (guitar) more recently.  He is a supporter of the performing arts enjoying both choral and symphonic concerts with family and friends whenever possible.
