Mattias Lundberg is a baritone, conductor, and composer from Washington, DC, currently completing a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from the Yale School of Music. He is a proud graduate of Haverford College, where he received a B.A. in music. During college, Mattias was the musical director of his acapella group, the Haverford College Ford S-Chords, and served as Director of Choral Scholars at Wayne Presbyterian Church. During the pandemic, he worked as an audio engineer for Arts Laureate, producing virtual choir recordings for choirs across the country. He is currently serving as music director at the University Church in Yale, at Battell Chapel. Mattias specializes in baroque music performance, and spends at least two hours each day listening to early music recordings on Spotify. He grew up on the music of Bill Withers, Sam Cooke, and Nina Simone, and loves playing their music at the piano in his free time.
